The main event will feature a doubleheader with a WBC middleweight title bout with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (44-0-1, 31KOs) vs. Marco Antonio Rubio (53-5-1, 46KOs) and Nonito Donaire (27-1, 18KOs) vs. Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (21-1-1, 18KOs) in the junior featherweight division. The main event will air on HBO World Championship Boxing at 9pm central. This will be a title defense for Martirosyan, but Vanes has made it resoundingly clear he is ready, able and willing to step up to anyone in his division.
