US ARMENIANS TO AID ARMENIAN COMMUNITY OF IRAQ

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America has collected $20 thousand for the needs of the Armenian community of Iraq. As reported by Mediamax agency, Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II has initiated the gathering of means. The money received by a specially created fund will be passed to the leader of the Armenian church of Iraq, archbishop Avag Asadurian, who will use them to meet the needs of local Armenians. Donations continue replenishing the fund.
