ANC participation in parliament depends on election process – spokesmanFebruary 27, 2012 - 16:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Participation of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc in the activity of future National Assembly depends on the way elections are held, according to ANC spokesman. “Even if we have only one MP but the elections are free and fair, we will regard it as public assessment of the activity we and other political forces pursued,” Arman Musinyan stated. According to Mr. Musinyan, in case of election violations, ANC will decide on its participation in the parliament activity depending on the political situation. The spokesman further named “RPA regime headed by Serzh Sargsyan as the key factor hindering conduction of free and fair elections, as the latter renders RPA victory impossible.” During past elections of Yerevan Council of Elders in May 2009, ANC gained the 3rd place, however abandoned its mandate due to election violations.
