UK PARLIAMENTARY UNDERSECRETARY OF STATE FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO VISIT ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the framework of the regional visit Gareth Thomas, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), will visit Armenia 15-17 February. He is to meet with RA FM Vardan Oskanian as well as the representatives of NGOs acting in Armenia. February 16 he will visit the village of Yerindjatap in Aragatsotn marz, where under the auspices of the British party the school was repaired and training of the staff conducted. Due the outcomes of the visit, G. Tomas is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the United Kingdom and Armenia on British Technical Assistance.
