French, Russians rudeness champs, survey says

PanARMENIAN.Net - The French and Russians are the undisputed champions of bad manners and rudeness, a poll of British tourists held by Skyscanner service has revealed, the company said on Tuesday, March 13.

The company asked Britons: “Residents of which countries do you consider most impolite?” The French came first with 19 percent with the Russians taking second place on 16.6 percent.

“The fact that people usually consider us rude is explained by cultural and language differences. Russian language is not so polite as English, and when Russian speakers try to speak English abroad they usually directly translate what they wanted to say in Russian,” Scysacnner manager on Russian markets development Tatyana Danilova commented.

Britons voted Argentineans and Filipinos the most polite people, RIA Novosti reported.
