Paper: former Education Minister to head state language inspection

PanARMENIAN.Net - The tender for the announced position of the head of state language inspection was over on March 13, with three candidates Yesayi Tadevosyan, Sergo Yeritsyan and his deputy Marine Hovyan bidding for the vacancy.

Yesayi Tadevosyan did not succeed in the first election stage, while the other two became winners making it into the second stage, Chorord Ishkhanutyun paper reports.

In case there are two contenders for a position, it is up to the Armenian Minister for Education and Science Armen Ashotyan to appoint one.

The paper asked the minister who will be appointed in this position, acting head of the Inspection Yeritsyan or Hovyan. The Minister joked saying a Facebook voting will determine the winner. In fact, the winner will become known in due time, Ashotyan stated.

However, according to the paper's data, Yeritsyan, a former member of Orinats Yerkir, will again get this post.

Ashotyan also seems to fail in getting rid of Orinats Yerkir “legacy”. So, a conclusion arises that this decision is imposed from the top government, the paper says.
