Armenian Defense Minister visits U.S.March 21, 2012 - 16:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 20, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with Adjutant General of Kansas Lee E. Tafanelli, Kansas Senate President Steve Morris and Kansas House Speaker Mike O'Neal as a part of RA Minister’s working visit to the U.S. During the meeting between Minister Ohanyan and Governor of Kansas Sam Brownback, the parties hailed the high-level relations between Kansas and Armenia and prospects on expanding cooperation. A declaration on cooperation was signed, in which the parties voiced content with the present-day relations, highly assessing Armenia’s role in peacemaking missions in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.
