OSCE YEREVAN OFFICE PROMOTES DEMOCRACY IN ARMENIA, US DIPLOMAT CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE Office in Yerevan has demonstrated its continued dedication to promoting democratic principles in Armenia, U.S. diplomat Paul Jones told the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, Austria the other day. As reported by the US Department of State, Paul Jones noted that under the leadership of Ambassador Vladimir Pryakhin the OSCE mission has strengthened the level of cooperation between the Armenian government, its political parties and various facets of civil society. He specifically highlighted Ambassador Pryakhin's work in promoting Electoral Code reform, implementing anti-corruption strategies, and developing anti-terrorism legislation.
