ARMENIA INTENDS TO PARTICIPATE IN NATO PA SEMINAR IN BAKU, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN SAIDNovember 8, 2004 - 19:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian party intends to take part in Rose-Roth NATO Parliamentary Assembly seminar in Baku, head of the Parliamentary Commission for Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Mher Shahgeldian told Arminfo news agency. In his words, besides him the delegation includes National Assembly deputies Alexan Karapetian and Artur Petrosian. He also noted that the seminar organizers are already notified and visas will be issued to the Armenian deputies upon the arrival in Baku. It should be reminded that the seminar is scheduled to take place November 26-28 and some Azeri parties and organizations, specifically, Organization for Karabakh Liberation have come against the participation of the Armenian delegation in the event. It should be also noted that Azeri authorities impeded participation of the Armenian delegation in Cooperative Best Effort-2004 NATO exercise to be held in Baku this September and cancelled by the Alliance leadership due to that.
