Kocharian-Aliyev Meeting Likely to Be Held in January 2006

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the meeting with the Armenian community of Greece Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs the other day in the written form called upon the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to hold a meeting in January 2006. According to the Armenian leader the "mediators take into account the fact that January is a month free of elections and can provide an opportunity for active work." "We will try to be active next year and I really see the possibility to get things moving although we have not set ourselves a task to hurry in settling the issue. If an admissible variant of Karabakh conflict settlement appears it would be unreasonable to miss such a chance," Robert Kocharian said.
