Robert Kocharian to Discuss Armenian-Russian Cooperation in Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - During his working visit to Moscow January 22 Armenian President Robert Kocharian will discuss a wide scope of issues referring to the Armenian-Russian cooperation. The press office of the Russian Embassy in Armenia said an exchange of views on the whole complex of the Russian-Armenian interaction as well as on the urgent international and regional problems is expected. The parties will focus on the implementation of agreements achieved at the Armenian-Russian high-level meetings, outline of new opportunities in the fuel and energy as well as investment fields.



Great attention will be paid to the resolution of transport problems including the restoration of the railway communication between Armenia and Russia via Georgia and efficient functioning of the Caucasus-Poti ferry line. The Armenian and Russian Presidents will refer to the war on terror as well as cooperation in the educational, cultural and humanitarian fields. Robert Kocharian's working visit is dated to the opening of the Year of Armenia in Russia.
