Russia's Silence in Destruction of Khachkars in Nakhichevan Incomprehensible

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia's silence over destruction of the Armenian khachkars in Old Julfa cemetery in Nakhichevan, Azerbaijan, is in comprehensible, Armenian NA Vice-Speaker, Co-Chair of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Commission Vahan Hovhannisyan said. In his words, the silence is odd taking into account that the Russian State Duma adopted a resolution on recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The Russian delegation could not adduce distinct arguments over its stance, an Armenian MP said.
