Victor Cherkesov: No Facts on Drug Traffic from Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of Russia's Federal Service for Control of Drug Turnover Victor Cherkesov told journalists, there are no facts on drug traffic from Nagorno Karabakh. «As the head of the Federal Service for Control of Drug Turnover and Chair of the CSTO Coordination Council I can say there are no documented facts of any drug traffic originating from or coming through NK to the territory of Russia,» Cherkesov said. In the words of Armenian Police Chief Hayk Harutyunyan, hearsay on drug traffic from Nagorno Karabakh is false. «This matter is politicized and is false. The NK territory is controlled by its law-enforcement bodies in interaction with us,» Harutyunyan said, reports Novosti-Armenia.
