Kocharian and Semneby Discussed Working out EU-Armenia Action Plan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with EU newly appointed special representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby, reports the Press Service of the Armenian leader. During the meeting Kocharian appreciated the forming of the institution of the special representative for the South Caucasus. In his opinion it allows having more coordinated relations with EU structures. In his turn, Semneby remarked that the question of establishment of stability and peace in the South Caucasus is in focus of the EU attention. Besides, the parties discussed the process of working out the EU-Armenia Action Plan within the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP). Mr. Kocharian called it a new resource for development of the country from the point of view of clear direction of reforms. At the instance of Mr. Semneby, the Armenian President presented the latest developments over the Karabakh settlement and acquainted him with Armenia's approaches regarding continuation of the talks.
