Armenian Parliament Speaker to Meet Azeri Counterpart in Saint Petersburg

PanARMENIAN.Net - By invitation of French Senate Vice-President Jean-Claude Gaudin the Armenian parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan will pay a call to France April 22-25, reported RA NA press office. The delegation members are scheduled to meet with Senate President Christian Poncelet, Senate Vice-President, Mayor of Marseilles

Jean-Claude Gaudin, NATO PA President Pierre Lellouche, UNESCO Secretary General Koichiro Matsuura and representatives of the Armenian community of France. April 24 the Armenian parliamentarians will take part in the unveiling ceremony of the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims in Marseilles.



April 26 the Armenian NA Speaker will leave for Saint Petersburg to participate in the events dedicated to the 100th birthday of the Russian State Duma. Within the visit framework Artur Baghdassaryan will meet with PACE President Rene van der Linden, chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly Sergey Mironov, Milli Mejlis Speaker Oktay Asadov and OSCE PA President Alcee L. Hastings. As a co-chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization Artur Baghdassaryan will sign an agreement with the EurAsEC.
