Vartan Oskanian to depart for New York to participate in UN General Assembly 62nd session

PanARMENIAN.Net - October 1 Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian will depart for New York to participate in the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly.



The RA FM is expected to meet with his counterparts, including new Turkish FM Ali Babacan.



October 2 Minister Oskanian will take part in the informal meeting of Foreign Ministers of the BSEC member states.



October 3 the RA FM is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly session.



October 4 he will address the participants of the Dialogue on Interreligious and Intercultural Understanding and Cooperation for Peace. The same day he will meet with Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.



October 5 Vartan Oskanian will leave for Boston to deliver a speech at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at the Tufts University. He will be awarded with the Dean's Medal.



The next day the RA FM will take part in a meeting dedicated to the 15th birthday of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, the RA MFA press office reports.
