RA President introduced new Defense Minister to supreme officersApril 15, 2008 - 15:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan introduced new Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan to supreme officers, the RA leader's press office reported. Sargsyan appreciated the newly appointed Minister's activity for formation and consolidation of the Armenian army and voiced confidence that reforms aimed to raise the efficiency of the Armenian army. The President also thanked former Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan and voiced hope that his skills and experience will serve for further development of the army. For his part, Seyran Ohanyan thanked the supreme commander-in-chief for the confidence and stressed that he will work to ensure security of the country and to raise efficiency of the army.
