Heritage believes that authorities could detect the case of March 1 events long agoMay 27, 2009 - 17:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There have been very many hampering circumstances in the work of fact gathering group of March 1 events, but despite them there have been very many achievements of mutual work," Armen Martirosyan, chairman of the Heritage fraction of the RA National Assembly, told news conference. According to him, the Heritage party has a political will to assist in detecting the case of March 1 events, as far as possible. Mr. Martirosyan expressed astonishment at the intention of group's head to leave his post. Mr. Martirosyan voiced a doubt, that this decision has been conditioned by contradictions between opposition representatives and the RA president and supposed that the group head has other serious grounds for leaving his post. According to Armen Martirosyan, the authorities have quite many leverages to influence the investigation of March 1, 2008 events , and if they wanted to detect the case they would have done it already. He also emphasized, that if the group ceases acting, the representative of Heritage, certainly, will reveal the facts known to him. Mr.Martirosyan referred the President's decree, forbidding disclosure of information, obtained in the course of investigation. If the fact gathering group is closed, the representative of Heritage will not have such obligations, concluded Armen Martirosyan.
