ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" greets amnesty granted by president

PanARMENIAN.Net - "We regard granting amnesty as a very important human act with political implication," Artiusha Shahbazyan, secretary of the parliamentary "Dashnaktsutyun" fraction told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. According to him, that step is also directed to mitigate a hot political situation in the country.

Artiusha Shahbazyan does not share the opinion of many statesmen, that by granting amnesty the page of March 1 and March 2 events of 2008 is turned.

"We need final reports of parliamentary commission to close the case. Besides, final estimations of events have not been given yet," he said.

According to Artiusha Shahbazyan, their fraction greets amnesty granted by the president, however they believe the amnesty should have been of larger scale.
