"Armenian choice": Madrid principles pose a threat to Armenia and ArtsakhJuly 13, 2009 - 22:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In the light of Minsk Group's publication of Madrid Principles and FM Edward Nalbandyan's positive assessment, the action group of "Armenian Choice" party has released a statement in which it condemns Presidential Administration's decision on Karabakh issue and Armenian-Turkish normalization. The action group finds "Madrid Principles" unacceptable. In particular, it states, "The realization of any component of 'Madrid Principles' will eventually undermine the current political-military regime - the only guarantee of maintaining the ceasefire regime - and disintegrate Armenia and Karabakh's defense capacity, resulting in the displacement of Armenian population." Any legally binding document, including a preliminary agreement, signed within the frames of "Madrid Principles" is estimated as the gravest anti-state crime undermining the national security and defense system of Armenian statehood, "Armenian Choice" finds.
