RA-NATO partnership aims at resolution of security issues in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - "RA - NATO collaboration is implemented within frameworks of IPAP (Individual Partnership Action Plan), PFP (Partnership for Peace) as well as NATO parliamentary assembly, involving international MPs who're authorized to offer suggestions on NATO programs implementation," representative of RA NATO Delegation, RA Republican Party MP Karen Avagayn told a joint news conference in Yerevan.

According to Avagyan, NATO-RA Partnership aims at resolution of security issues in Armenia. There are several security surfaces to Armenia: international, regional and all Armenian. "Still, OSCE-implemented programs are the main military and political basis of Armenia," Avagyan noted.

Main goal of Armenia's participation in NATO programs is to bring RA's security and defense spheres in compliance with international standards.
