Raffi Hovannisian explained why he decided not to lay down his parliamentary mandate

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party leader Raffi Hovannisian explained why he decided not to lay down his parliamentary mandate.

"Under the circumstances, Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh's security as well as Heritage party's existence is jeopardized. Moreover, our opposition does not have a common stand on the process," he told a news conference today.

"Taking into account all these facts, I have reconsidered my approach and decided that my principal participation would be more correct than my principal absence in the Armenian political life," he said.
