ANC: At Athens negotiations, Armenia agreed with territorial integrity principle

PanARMENIAN.Net - In connection with OSCE MG Co-Chair countries' Foreign Ministers' statement on Karabakh conflict settlement, passed on December 1 in Athens, Armenian National Congress issued a statement noting that by adoption of statements above Armenia assumes the responsibility to reach Karabakh conflict settlement through non-use of force, within territorial integrity and self determination right frameworks.

According to ANC statement, Armenia gave official consent for Karabakh conflict settlement within Azerbaijan's territorial integrity frameworks. In this case, the point on national self determination principle, included in the document does not compensate Armenia's concession. "Joint implementation of national self determination right and territorial integrity principle means that NKR's self -government level, however high, will be implemented within Azerbaijan's territorial integrity frameworks," ANC stressed.
