PanARMENIAN.Net - By rejecting ratification of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols, Turkey has damaged its position in the region, said Stepan Grigoryan, board chairman of the Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation.

“After the suspension of the rapprochement process, Turkey’s relations with Russia chilled and its influence decreased,” he told journalists on July 19.

As to media reports on opening of the border during the NATO exercise in Armenia in fall, he noted cooperate in the framework of NATO-led operations is stipulated by the Protocols.
