ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH AGAINST CORRIDA IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Apostolic Church has come out against corrida, which will take place on September 7, 8 and 9 on Yerevan stadium after V.Sargsian. The message spread by Saint Echmiadzin Press Office says church does not approve of entertainment actions presenting bloody scenes, which distort the norms of Christian morality. (It is remarkable that sacrifice, which is not a less bloody and cruel act, is accepted in the Armenian Apostolic Church.) Some animal protection international organizations also came out with an appeal to hinder corrida.
