Azerbaijan pursues a defeatist policy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Efforts to bring Karabakh problem to the UN floor are part of Baku’s propaganda linked to the forthcoming parliamentary election, an Armenian expert said.

“Armenian diplomacy should intensify activity but avoid steps similar to those taken by Azerbaijan, as the latter pursues a defeatist policy,” Caucasus Institute director Alexander Iskandaryan told a news conference on September 11.

According to him, no breakthrough is expected until the OSCE Summit in December.
