Aram Manukyan: release of political prisoners top priority for ANMNovember 23, 2010 - 15:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Release of political prisoners is a top priority for the Armenian National Movement, according to Aram Manukyan, ANM board chairman. “We will use our contacts in the European Union and the Council of Europe to release oppositionists,” Manukyan told journalists on November 23. He said opposition can open dialogue with the authorities only when all opposition supporters are set free and the killings of 10 people in March 2008 are disclosed. Manukyan also added that there are prerequisites for conduction of early elections in Armenia.
