Artak Zakaryan: Azerbaijan’s political resources for Karabakh settlement seem exhausted

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the current year, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan intensified activity for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia said.

Artak Zakaryan emphasized that Azerbaijan’s provocative acts at the line of contact can’t make Armenia reconsider its position on peaceful resolution of the conflict.

“Azerbaijan’s political resources seem exhausted. Baku can either agree to freeze the conflict or unleash a new war, both being devastating for it,” he told reporters on December 16.

“The Azerbaijani political elite should accept that Artsakh has never been a part of independent Azerbaijan,” Zakaryan concluded.
