Events in Middle East push Karabakh conflict to the background

PanARMENIAN.Net - Recent events in Tunisia, Egypt and Middle East will influence the course of Karabakh conflict settlement, according to European Integration NGO chairman.

As Karen Bekaryan told a news conference in Yerevan, the South Sudan referendum, change of power in Egypt, riots in Yemen and Bahrain, tensions between Azerbaijan and Israel are background events, which, although indirectly, affect the logic of Karabakh process.

“The events mentioned divert the attention of superpowers, pushing many issues, including Karabakh conflict, to the background,” Bekaryan said.
