The Armenian armed forces will successfully protect the country, if needed, Baghdasaryan said during a sitting of an interdepartmental commission regulating works on the SDR. Armenian Deputy Minister of Defense David Tonoyan presented the future document’s content, saying that it includes all provisions concerning possible threats to the national security and ways for their elimination, specifically, in the Karabakh conflict. According to Tonoyan, it proves that the country’s defense policy is not static and the opportunities for the RA armed forces development are considered on a regular basis.
