Swiss President will personally attend the opening of Swiss Embassy in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 31, Swiss Confederation President Micheline Calmy-Rey will pay an official visit to Armenia at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Within the framework of her visit, Ms. Calmy-Rey will meet with Armenia’s officials, and visit the Holy Echmiadzin to meet the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

Ms. Calmy-Rey will also attend the opening of the Swiss Embassy in Armenia.

On the second day of her stay in Armenia, the Swiss President will arrive in Gyumri to visit the Swiss Humanitarian Foundation created after Spitak earthquake, presidential press service reported.
