Hunchakian party accuses ANC of intolerance towards other people’s viewsApril 6, 2011 - 15:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Representative of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) Narek Galstyan said the Armenian National Congress (ANC) does not tolerate a contrary opinion. “ANC is intolerant and it is natural with respect to the authorities, but it is also intolerant towards all possible contrary opinions,” Galstyan told a press conference in Yerevan. According to him, this is proved by the attitude of ANC towards Heritage party and some ANC former activists. Galstyan believes that ANC tries to annihilate other political forces and politicians, discredit them to monopolize the political field, using its huge information resource and powerful propagandistic machine. However, ANC should remember that Heritage supported it, specifically, in the struggle for release of ANC activists, Galstyan noted, reminding that Heritage refrained from participating in Yerevan Mayor’s election under the ANC pressure. ANC representative Manuk Sukiasyan said for his part that Armenia needs changes, specifically, replacement of the authorities. He expressed hope that the April 8 rally of ANC will launch a new stage, which will lead to pre-term elections in the country.
