RPA is citing ANC leader

PanARMENIAN.Net - A member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Artak Davtyan commented on the factor of the second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan in a political dialogue between the ruling authorities and oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC).

As he told a news conference in Yerevan, ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian's statement at May 31 rally clarifies the role of Kocharyan.

A representative of ANC Suren Abramyan, in turn, noted that Kocharyan is “intimidated by the dialogue.”

“Obviously, some forces are concerned over the prospect of a dialogue, capable of fundamentally altering social, economic and political situation in the country. The “most nervous” and panicking person in Armenia is also worried, knowing well enough his reasons for panic and concern,” ANC leader said during May 31 rally.
