RPA: speaking of snap elections in Armenia ridiculous

PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of Republican Party of Armenia parliamentary group dismissed the possibility of snap elections in Armenia as “ridiculous”, because “there are no political premises for it”.

As Galust Sahakyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the authorities are ready to discuss current issues the country and preparation for elections, yet extraordinary elections are precluded.

Sahakyan was sceptical over the possibility of resumption of ANC rallies to press for pre-term elections. “If inducing the authorities into conducting snap elections were possible, it would have been done by now,” he said.

According to Sahakyan, no secret negotiations between the ANC and authorities were held.
