Jazz Appreciation Festival to Be Held in Yerevan April 26-30April 7, 2006 - 20:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Traditional Jazz Appreciation Month-2006 (JAM) will be held in Yerevan April 26-30. It is organized by the US Embassy in Armenia. As the Embassy Press Service told PanARMENIAN.Net the festival will begin at the National Aesthetics Center, where young jazzmen of Armenia and artists will perform. Judy Bady quartet from New York will have a concert along with Armenian musicians. Within the festival films on jazz history will be screened at the Armenian National Picture Gallery in April and May. This is the sixth year the JAM is held at the US, it has been organized in Armenia since 2002.
