Young scholars receive grants in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Foundation of Science and Advanced Technology (NFSAT) and Yerevan State University will organize conference in the framework of "Creation of University Research Centers" program on December 22, 2009 in the Armenian resort town of Tsaghkadzor . The conference will also summarize a joint Armenian-American competition "Promoting research of young scientists - 2009". The conference will be attended by representatives of RA Ministry of Education and Science, U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

Holders of grants under "Creation of University Research Centers" program within two years will receive USD 100 thousand to purchase equipment, repair laboratories and participate in international conferences.
