China to provide technical assistance for population census in Armenia in 2011January 20, 2011 - 09:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration, Chairman of the Committee for Organization and Operation of Population Census in 2011, Mr. Armen Gevorgyan received Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Changchun. China’s technical assistance during the population census in Armenia in 2011 was in the focus of the meeting, the press service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration reported. The Ambassador expressed China’s willingness to discuss the matter. Mr. Gevorgyan said that a range of countries and international organizations are ready to provide financial aid and technical assistance for the census operation.
