Brazil government to donate $80 000 to clear Nubarashen pesticides storage siteMarch 17, 2011 - 12:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The government of Brazil, through its embassy in Yerevan, will donate to the government of the Republic of Armenia more than USD 80 000 worth in equipment for the Laboratory for the Control of Hazardous and Toxic Substances of the Ministry of Nature Protection, and also one off-road vehicle. The donation is part of the Humanitarian Assistance Program of the Brazilian government and comes as a response to the request of international assistance by the government of Armenia concerning the activities of damage containment in the pesticides storage site of Nubarashen. The ceremony will be held on March 18, at 12:30, at the RA Ministry of Nature Protection, reported the press office of Brazil’s embassy in Yerevan.
