As ecologist Karine Danielyan told a news conference in Yerevan, serious violations of seismic security were observed in the construction of new buildings. Besides, environmental pollution and waste management have turned into serious issued for the capital. “A trash dump in Nubarashen is creating serious environmental problems, with Yerevan Municipality unable to resolve the issue by its own means. The assistance of the government in the issue is necessary,” Danielyan stressed.
