NCFA to develop adventure tourism in ArmeniaMay 19, 2011 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the tourism project of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) Syuzanna Azoyan said that the development of adventure tourism is among basic goals of NCFA. The development of this type of tourism will allow attracting younger tourists to Armenia, while currently people above 50 basically arrive in the country, Azoyan told journalists. Improvement of infrastructures is considered as part of the Southern Corridor strategic project to make Armenia more attractive for tourists. “We would like tourists to be interested not only in Yerevan, but also Armenia’s provinces,” concluded Azoyan. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
