Arman Yeremyan beats tae kwon do champ Bibak

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today within the framework of Iran's National High League in Taekwondo, the Armenian taekwondo player Armen Yeremyan has beaten his opponent, the world champion, Bibak, said Vardan Kagramanyan, executive director of Armenian Taekwondo Fedreation, to PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.



"This year Arman has participated in Iran's National High League intaekwondo as per agreement between our federations. We thought it right since taekwondo in Iran is on a top level now and this will help our sportsman be in good shape. Arman is currently involved in "Javaneh" team, where he won three single combats last year. Javaneh's coach is the senior coach of Armenia's Nationall team Rahim Samekhi, said Kagramanyan. Today Arman has had another victory, this time over the world champion of Iranian origin, Bibak. Yeremyan is the first Armenian champion of Europe. He won the title last year. Owing to sportsmen like Yeremyan, Armenia has risen to a higher 3rd level in European rating," he added



It should be mentioned that Arman Yeremyan together with Armenia's Natioanl Team is to participate in the World Championship held October, in Kopenhagen, the Danish capital.
