Armenia selected boxers' team for participating in Milan World Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Boxing team representing Armenia during September 1-12 Milan World Championship has been already selected. Currently, Armenian and Georgian national teams are conducting a training session in Ararat, Armenian boxing team's chief coach Rafael Mehrabyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent.



No changes are expected in Armenian team members' list, the coach said.



The following boxers will represent Armenia during the championship:



Hovhannes Danielyan - weight class: 48 kg. (Champion of Europe - 2008)

Derenik Gizhlaryan - weight class: 51 kg.

Azat Hovhannisyan - weight class: 57 kg.

Hrachya Djavakhyan - weight class: 60 kg. (Champion of Europe - 2008)

Edward Hambardzumyan - weight class: 64 kg. (Champion of Europe - 2008)

Samvel Matevosyan - weight class: 69 kg.

Andranik Hakobyan - weight class: 75 kg. (holder of 2008 World Cup)

Tsolak Ananikyan - weight class: 91 kg. (Silver Medal Winner in 2008 Championship of Europe)
