Armenian boxing team suffered its first defeat in Milan World championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian box team has today suffered its first defeat in Milan World Championship. Samvel Matevosyan (w/c 60kg.) was defeated by Albanian boxer Djemiter Kuchi in the first round.



Gagik Djavakhyan, another representative from Armenia, beat Bulgaria's Semenon Bunarizh 11:1.



In today's competitions, Armenian boxers Tsolak Ananikyan (w/c 91 kg., silver medal winner in 2008 European Championship) and Azat Hovhannisyan (57 kg.) will fight against Sandro Direnfeld (Slovakia) and Hector Mansania (Venezuela) respectively.
