PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian women’s soccer team were smashed 0:7 by the Portuguese in a 2011 World Cup qualifier on March 31.

Edith Fernandez scored a hat trick, while the other goals were scored by Silvia Rebellon, Claudia Netton, Sofia Vieira and Carol Kosta.

The return match is due in Armenia on August 25.

Currently, Armenia bottom Group 7 with no points. The group is topped by Italy (13 points).
