Armenian youth team to participate in World Wrestling Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - World Youth Wrestling Championship will kick off July 20 in Budapest with Armenian team to be presented in all weigh categories.

Armenian sportsmen to compete in Greco-Roman wrestling discipline are: Ashot Khachatryan (50kg weight class), Narek Khachatryan (55kg weight class), Alexan Mikaelyan (60kg weight class), Gevorg Sahakyan (66kg weight class), Rafik Manukyan (74kg weight class), Artur Alexanyan (84kg weight class), Eduard Soghomonyan (96kg weight class) and Vachik Eghiazaryan (120kg weight class).

8 Armenian wrestlers will perform in freestyle discipline: Ashot Khachatryan or Matevos Saroyan (50kg weight class), Volodya Frangulyan (55kg weight class), Hrachya Shakhnazaryan (60kg weight class), David Khachatryan (66kg weight class), Hayk Karapetyan (74kg weight class), Vahe Tamrazyan (84kg weight class), Andranik Galstyan (96kg weight class) and Tigran Kesayan (120kg weight class), Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry official website reported.
