RA government to rehabilitate handball traditions in ArmeniaSeptember 4, 2010 - 14:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with President of the International Handball Federation, Dr Hassan Mustafa, who arrived in Armenia to watch RA Prime Minister’s Cup held in Vanadzor on September 2-4. PM Sargsyan noted that the tournament will serve as a new stimulus for handball development in Armenia and the RA government will do its utmost to rehabilitate its traditions in the country. Dr Mustafa hailed cooperation with the RA Handball Federation and briefed the Prime Minister on the outlooks, the RA governmental press service reported. The international tournament brought together Armenian, Belarusian, Georgian and Iranian teams. In the first two matches, the Armenian team suffered a 20:37 defeat by Belarus and celebrated a 28:27victory over Iran. On September 4, Armenia will play the last match v Georgia.
