3 sportsmen to represent Armenia at Abu Dhabi Judo Grand Prix

PanARMENIAN.Net - Abu Dhabi (UAE) Judo Grand Prix will kick off on November 22, giving participants a chance to qualify for the London Olympic Games.

The prize fund of the tournament is $200,000.

Armenia will be represented by 2009 World Championship bronze winner Hovhannes Davtyan (60kg), 2010 World Cup winner Armen Nazaryan (66kg) and Hambardzum Tonoyan (66kg).

Earlier, as per an offer of the International Judo Federation, Romanian specialist Constantin Bogdan has been appointed as President of the Armenian Judo Federation, while Adrian Krioturu has become chief coach of the Armenian team.
