FC Pyunik withdraws from CIS Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net - FC Pyunik has officially withdrawn from CIS Cup, explaining the decision by the need to prepare for other tournaments, including national team matches.

Pyunik President Karen Harutyunyan said the club will conduct 3 training sessions before the 2011 season. He also informed that the team will be replenished with new players next year.

“We are the champions of Armenia this year. But it’s as well important to show beautiful football,” commented Vardan Minasyan, Pyunik and national team chief coach.
