David Nalbandian down to 23rd place in ATP rankings

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Argentine David Nalbandian dropped 4 places to be 23rd with 1425 points in the men’s tennis rankings released by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) on April 18, 2011.

Nalbandian had double surgery to his left leg on March 11 that put him out of action for six to eight weeks. He was suffering from a hernia in his left groin and a torn lower leg muscle. Nalbandian returned to the Argentine capital to begin his on-court training at the Vilas Club on April 13.

Spaniard Rafael Nadal (12870 points) continues to top the rankings, followed by Novak Djokovic (Serbia) with 9640 points and Roger Federer (Switzerland) with 8550 points.
