Armenian women chess players prepare for European Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian team will participate in European Individual Women’s Chess Championship to be held May 6-19 in Tbilisi.

Currently, the team, including Elina Danielyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Lilit Galoyan, Nelly Aghinyan, is participating in Tsaghkadzor-hosted practice session, led by grandmaster Ara Minasyan, armchess.am reported.

Lia Martirosyan, Anna Hayrapetyan, Anahit Kharatyan and under 18 Armenian Champion Maria Gevorgyan will join the team at the championship. The matches are due May 7-13 and 15-18. Over 200 chess players from 44 courtiers worldwide will participate.
